Our uniform policy has not changed other than adding a navy blue polo. Many students have been wearing navy blue polos and in an effort to make our uniform more inclusive we have added navy blue polos to our uniform.
You may remember, last year we added khaki pants, which gives the students more variety.
Our goal is to positively reinforce students who are wearing the uniform. Gator tickets are being handed out by staff for students in uniform.
To clarify any jacket or coat may be worn outside, even if it is not a uniform color. It just can not have a sports logo. Inside the classroom the policy has not changed students may wear any solid color sweater or sweatshirt that is a uniform color.
In an effort to make sure that every child has the uniform pieces they need we have been providing students with items from the uniform closet as needed. If your child has uniforms they have outgrown and you would like to donate them to the uniform closet it would be greatly appreciated by Mrs. Rosalia and Desiree Torres, our uniform closet chairs.
Last Wednesday, January 30th, a handout of our uniform went home in the Wednesday envelope (neon orange) hoping to answer any questions you may have. Many of you were able to join us on Friday, February 1st at the Awards Assembly when Mrs. Rosete talked with students about uniforms.
If you have any further questions please feel free to check the website or call our office.
