Welcome

AUGUST
On behalf of academic counseling staff, we would like to welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year. The counselors of Bret Harte are excited and ready to meet you all!

As we embark upon the year ahead of us, we aim to work with each of our students in a holistic capacity – collaborating with the students, staff and parents to facilitate an educational environment of engaged and inspired learners prepared to succeed in a global society.

In continuing with the district’s ongoing mission of eliminating the opportunity gap and providing every student with the finest 21st century education, the academic counseling staff at Bret Harte will drive forth the message of academic excellence and personal achievement whilst promoting social and emotional wellness. Individual and group counseling sessions, classroom-based conversations and campus wide initiatives such as College Week are means in which we promote a strong educational community.

Collectively, the team of counselors, all new to Bret Harte, are eager to meet with our students and immerse ourselves in the Bronco culture! Please do not hesitate to contact our office with questions, comments, concerns or simply tell us what makes Bret Harte wonderful. We look forward to the year ahead!

Kindest regards,
The Bret Harte Academic Counseling Staff
