HEY BRONCOS:  Bret Harte will resume the Cultural Fair on May 4, 2018 @ 4:00-7:00PM. The Cultural fair includes a talent and fashion show. The talent show consists of performing traditional dances and other talents from around the world. We would greatly appreciate it if you would participate in our events.  Students can participate as an individual or as a group.  Please stop by Student Services for sign up sheets. Please return this sign up sheet to Student Services.

The Scholastic book fair is back again this spring at Bret Harte Middle School.  The book fair will be open from
April 30th to May 4th. Students can come to the book fair to shop during morning recess, lunch recess and after school.  After school the book fair will be open until 3:15pm.  The students can bring cash or check to shop.  Hope to see you at the book fair!  For your convenience, we have an online catalog for you to shop, please go to the book fair homepage at: http://www.scholastic.com/bf/brethartemiddleschool1

AND Tuesday April 24th, Wednesday, April 25th, and Thursday, April 26th in BH Cafeteria from 6:00-8:00pm
*INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER MY ATHLETE (RMA):

BEFORE tryouts (and by the deadline), an athlete’s parent/guardian must have the following items in order to participate in any BHMS athletic tryout process/athletic practice:

1.  Register athlete online at registermyathlete.com
2.  An Athletic Medical Exam Screening form completed by a Physician
3.  A Medical History form completed by a Parent/Guardian.

Please upload these forms to registermyathlete.com or bring a hard copy to Sylvia in Student Services.  Forms and RMA instructions are also available in Student Services at BHMS, on the Bret Harte registermyathlete.com page, and on the Bret Harte website under Athletics and Clubs - Booster Club Forms.

Youth Summer Theater Auditions! If you like “Wicked”, “The Wiz”, and the “The Wizard of Oz”, you’ll love “Destination Oz” ~ this exciting youth theater production offers many featured speaking, singing, and dancing roles for local youth. Champion Youth Presents Self-Defense and Safety Awareness Education!  All children and teens should learn to defend themselves against bullies and stranger abduction. 40-minute classes are open to all youth ages 4-15, every Monday from April 16 – June 4 (except 5/28) at Burnett Middle School.
