You-Me-Us—Yearbook 2018
Wow!  Almost 16 pages of 8th grade Yearbook “baby” Ads sold through December!  And the more that come in the more adorable the photos and messages.
Although the phrase “the young man/woman you are becoming”  still dominates, folks are finding other ways to praise their kids, and it is getting ultra-cute!
Log-in or make an account at jostens.com, find our school using its name, and start creating today.
We STILL have room to fit your “baby” ad but we will be shutting down the site at the end of February!
I think this link still works:  http://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1007059/Bret-Harte-Middle-School/
Thank you for supporting yearbook 2018—You, Me, Us

Booster Club Needs You!
Does your child play a sport at Bret Harte or participate in any of the lunch-time clubs? If they do, then you should be aware that the Booster Club pays for their coaches, uniforms, equipment, and the club advisors stipend. The Booster Club needs your help. We are seeking volunteers for several board positions for the next school year. We meet once a month in the evening. Town Hall Meeting:We invite you to join us at our second districtwide Town Hall Meeting of the 2017-2018 school year at 6:30pm on Monday, Feb. 5th at Leland High School. We will explore the issue of class start times, introduce our latest climate survey, and hear about issues and initiatives that are important to you.
The event will start with brief presentations from district staff, followed by a student-led debate on the benefits and disadvantages of the high school start time issue — featuring students from Leland High’s nationally-recognized speech and debate program. The remainder of the evening will be devoted to YOU.
All parents, staff, and community members are encouraged to attend and have your voices heard. Everyone will get at least one minute to speak. District leaders will be there primarily to listen. Comments and speaker cards will be reviewed after the town hall, and responses will be distributed through our community newsletter and posted to the district website.
Please know that while we will not be able to address every comment right away, we will do our best to follow up in a timely fashion.
Live Spanish interpretation will be provided. Child care is available by request via email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
We look forward to seeing you on February 5th! Please click here to RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
