Mission and Goal: The Canoas Home and School Club is a non-profit organization that passionately supports our students, teachers and families at Canoas School. Our programs are unique to our school. We fund a diversity of programs that reach all students at different grade levels. This philosophy is to educate the whole child through programs that enhance the core curriculum, expand the arts, integrate technology in the classroom, promote physical fitness and build a positive school-learning environment.

Who is Our Community: Our programs serve over 400 students. We actively involve all families of our school community to provide educational enrichment, family support and student development under the guiding principles of our mission and goals. These programs are funded by events held throughout the year and run by our parent volunteers and teachers.

How Do We Build Our Community: We truly believe that parents are much more willing to support our school and give their time, talent and resources when they feel connected. For this reason, we sponsor special events that are not always fundraisers. Rather, they are community-building events where the entire family can come and just have a good time.

Why is this Unique to Our School: The Club works with the parent support, the Principal and the teachers to create a slate of programs that are innovative, academically superior and challenging. Each program is designed and evaluated each year to meet the changing needs of our student population for continuous improvement.
