Parental Involvement

Parent involvement is encouraged in many ways: School Site Council, School English Learners Advisory Committee, Gifted and Talented Education Advisory, Parent Teacher Association, festivals, fundraising, classroom support, and in many cases helping with work at home. Parents are expected to be involved with their child’s homework and to sign Reading Logs and assignment books on a daily basis.

Volunteer opportunities are varied and endless. Please complete the Volunteer Sign-up Form (pdf) to let us know how you’d like to help.

For further information on our parent volunteer program, please contact your child’s teacher or the PTA via the school office at 408-535-6287.
