Welcome to Gardner Academy for the 2009/2010 school year!

We were fortunate to have the two-story building painted this summer. In addition the portable rooms 1 through 6 have been remodeled with new walls, sinks, and cabinets. And, a new shade structure was built next to the basketball courts.

Due to California’s state budget shortfall, San Jose Unified School District has been fiscally conservative by eliminating some positions and increasing the class size at Kindergarten, first and second grades to 30 students per teacher.

Gardner’s teachers and staff are dedicated to making a positive difference for your child’s academic and social success.

I am anticipating an outstanding new school year and look forward to meeting our new students and parents and welcoming back our returning students.

Bienvenidos a la Academia Gardner para el año escolar 2009/2010!

Tuvimos la suerte de tener el edificio de dos pisos pintado en este verano. Además, los salones portátiles de 1 a 6 se han remodelado con nuevos muros, lavamanos y armarios, y una nueva estructura de sombra fue construida al lado de la cancha de basketball.

Debido al déficit presupuestario del estado de California, el Distrito Escolar Unificado de San José, ha sido fiscalmente conservador mediante la eliminación de algunos puestos y el aumento del tamaño de las clases en el Kindergarten, primero y segundo grados a 30 alumnos por maestro.

Los maestros y el personal de Gardner, se dedican a hacer una diferencia positiva para el éxito académico y social de su hijo.

Estoy anticipando un excelente nuevo año escolar y esperamos cumplir con nuestros nuevos estudiantes y padres de familia y dar la bienvenida de nuevo a nuestros estudiantes que regresan.
