C11 Super Citizen Schedule for 2012-2013
We welcome volunteers who help our teachers and staff elevate opportunities for students. Please review the following processes.
Monday, October 16 - Friday, October 20, 2017
B-6 Parents and Students:
Be sure to look through your student’s white envelope! This week there are several flyers and student work samples.
Also in your envelope are Scholastic Book Catalogs. This is a great way to find appropriate, affordable books! If you would like to order, the easiest way is to go online to scholastic.com/bookclubs. You then can “Find Your Child’s Teacher” or enter my teacher code, GVDMG. Please place your orders by 11/3.
Conferences are just around the corner! Thank you all for sending in your choices - all who have sent in their selections have received a confirmation. During conferences I will go over your student’s progress, review samples of work, and discuss behaviors. If you have specific questions, please send me an email prior to the conference!
This week we were treated to our second Cornerstone lesson by Mrs. Kramer and Mrs. Rao; be sure to read the flyer in your envelope - it has great suggestions how to reinforce this lesson at home.
Next Friday 10/27, will be our first BioSITE walking field trip! We leave Graystone at 10:45am and return at 12:20pm. Parents are welcome to join us on our walk to the creek. If you would like to attend, please send me an email, and I will fill you in on parent expectations for the trip(s).
