Student Enrichment Programs

At Hammer Montessori, school leaders and parents have worked together to offer a wide variety of in-class, recess and after school activities designed to enrich the education opportunities of our students.  Funded by the school’s Hammer Montessori Foundation (HMF), these activities are designed to complement the Montessori teaching method and provide students exposure to additional learning opportunities that may no longer be part of the California’s public elementary school “standard” curriculum.

Programs include:

  • Spanish Club
  • Fine Art
  • Starting Arts
  • Fun Fridays
  • Garden Club
  • Lego Robotics
  • Project Cornerstone
  • Music and Dance
  • Physical Education (PE)

Activities offered each year may vary based on available funding, parent volunteer interest and school staffing.
