Dear Horace Mann Huskies!
Hello and Welcome back to the 2016-2017 School year. I hope everyone is as excited as I am to begin another school year. The first days of school are a thrilling time for everyone. The teachers and staff at Horace Mann have been spending a great deal of time preparing for your students to return. We are looking forward to a fantastic year.
Our Ice Cream Social will be held Saturday August 13th from 12-2 pm. Team Horace, our PTO group, will be hosting the ice cream social. This is a great time to come out and meet other families and find out ways in which you can become more involved.
Class lists will be posted and students and families will have an opportunity to meet their teacher. We have worked very hard to create well-balanced classes. Therefore, class assignments will remain as posted unless a shift in enrollment numbers necessitates a change.
We will hold our first Principal’s Coffee Friday, August 19th at 8 am in room 115. All parents are welcome to attend and find out more about the awesome things we have planned this year. This is a great event for new parents to attend to become more acquainted with the programs and people at Horace Mann.
Save the date…Back to School Night will be held on August 30th at 6 pm.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, August 17th for the first day of school.
