Horace Mann School is well endowed with technology for both students and teachers. The use of technology is an integral part of the Primary School Programme (PYP) and district adaptive learning programs in both language arts and mathematics. Students have access to computers for research, Accelerated Reading quizzes, and skill-building programs in Language Arts and Mathematics in their classrooms, the computer labs, and in the Media Center.

Horace Mann has two computer labs. Students also have access to a laptop cart and an iPad cart for reading, math and research to supplement learning and project work.

Teachers at Horace Mann have digital projectors and ELMO document viewers to enrich their best teaching practices.  Our districtwide mathematics program is supplemented by EnVision teaching CDs, which are used extensively in the classroom using our teaching technology.

In all, the use of technology at Horace Mann is robust.
