Falcon Feeding Frenzy - TODAY!!!

Join us for a Family Dinner Night at Blue Rock BBQ this Wednesday, April 25th any time between 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Present the flyer when ordering and they will give 20% of the proceeds to John Muir Middle School. Press HERE to view the flyer.

CAASP Testing Schedule

We are testing students for the next two weeks. Attached is the Bell Schedule. Please try and refrain from taking your child out of school for appointments and such during these times. Thank you!

Minimum Days

Friday, April 27th and Friday, May 4th are both minimum days. There will be no testing on those days and school will be dismissed at 1:12 p.m.

8th Grade Panoramic Picture

You can still order your 8th Grade Panoramic Photo from Lifetouch. Pick up an order form in the Attendance Office or pay online by pressing HERE.

Great America Field Trip

Attention 8th Grade Students/Parents: Students attending the Great America field trip will not be allowed to leave early/be picked up early. Students that attend the field trip will ride the bus back to John Muir at the end of the trip. Should students leave early, they risk not participating in promotion.

Message from the Principal

All outside sports equipment will need to be put away before school hours. This includes footballs, tennis balls, basketballs and so forth. Students can store their equipment in the scooter closet. Items must be dropped off prior to the start of first period.

Also, the front office will no longer notify students if a lunch is dropped off for them. We will not be interrupting instructional time for students to come and pick up their lunch. Being in class the maximum amount of time is our main focus. Please plan accordingly.

There is still time to pre-order your school yearbook. The cost is $45.00. Order forms are in the office. Don’t miss out. Student Handbooks

All Muir students should have received the SJUSD Student Handbook. There is a plethora of valuable information inside and none more important than the very first page which is the acknowledgement of handbook and technology acceptable use form. You and your student must sign this front page and turn it in to their teacher to be able to use the technology resources on campus. The back page has optional choices on photography taken at school and release of information stipulations, but the front page is mandatory to be signed by student and parent and returned as soon as possible. Your explicit attention to this matter is appreciated.
