John Muir Media Center is your place for research, group study, homework, book reading/checkouts, taking tests, and working on computer related projects. Mrs. Laxson is available to assist in the access and use of the 32 Apple laptops, 40 Chromebooks and a media center printer. Three additional laptops are always available for browsing the library’s collection and checking your grades.
Students are able to check out up to three books at a time. The books are due every two weeks with the option to renew as often as they desire, with the exception of requested books. The library has over 16,700 books available to the students. John Muir is continuously working to update and add books.

The Media Center collection is searchable online through the Destiny library management system. Every student and faculty member is provided a personal library account. Students and staff may access their account to renew and place a hold on items. Please ask Mrs. Laxson if you have questions about searching the online catalog or accessing the personal account. Flyers are available in the library to access the Destiny Quest App available on iOS and Android. Check out Muir’s available E books when you log in.
