Leadership News

Our Mission Statement

As a Leadership class, we are striving to create a more welcoming environment for all those who attend Lincoln High School. We recognize the differences that every single person at our school has, whether they be cultural, sexual, identification, or any others. We work hard together to create engaging activities for the entire student body as well as educating all who wish to be more engaged in our school and our community.

Our Overarching Quote:

Future Vision

Future Vision Mentoring Program

The Future Vision Mentoring Program, begun by the LHS Foundation in 1993, inspires and guides students at Abraham Lincoln High School to set and achieve personal and academic goals.  The Future Vision Mentoring Program seeks to enrich students’ educational experiences and to stress the relevance of education through monthly meetings with volunteer mentors.  Students with the potential and desire to succeed and the capability to meet challenges of high school are invited to join the program.  Mentors utilize a variety of activities that emphasize study skills, time management, goal setting and career planning.  Mentors plan visits to local colleges as well as offer presentations showing a wide range of career opportunities.  For those interested in becoming a mentor, contact Jolene Schmitz, 408-535-6300 ext. 64422 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Sinceramente,

Jolene Schmitz

Coordinadora de Future Vision

DONATIONS

The Lincoln High School Athletic Boosters support our athletic teams with equipment, tournament fees, and college scholarships that they would not have without your support.  We are a 501c(3) organization,Tax ID# 46-1285227 and with your donation a thank you letter will be sent for tax purposes. Any donation amount is surely appreciated.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Athletic Booster Club is a volunteer group of Lincoln parents and alumni whose main function is fundraising. Annual funding from the school district is not enough to fulfill all the necessities our athletic teams require. We work together in conjunction with the Athletic Director, Kevin Collins, to identify the unfunded needs of our athletic department and it’s 28 teams. This event is our largest fundraiser of the year and helps sustain the athletic requirements for the year.

If you are interested in becoming a tee sponsor or making a further donation please contact Kevin Collins (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) or Elizabeth Nedved (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)). We are a 501(c)3 organization. Does your company offer a matching gift program, if so please contact Elizabeth Nedved and she can assist you with the paperwork needed.

GOLF TOURNAMENT ENTRY

Join us for this year’s fantastic annual Lincoln High School Athletic Boosters’ Golf Tournament on October 8, 2018.  Along with an entry into the golf tournament you will be treated to a tasty lunch, dinner, golfer’s gift, and a great time.  The proceeds support our athletic teams with equipment, tournament fees, and college scholarships.
