Measure H Los Alamitos Community Meeting @ the PTA Meeting
September 23, 7:00 PM, School Cafeteria
Parents and community members are invited to participate in community meetings and provide their input on the improvements they would like to see at their school. The potential facility improvements will be possible due to Measure H general obligation bonds, approved by voters on November 6, 2012. Approximately $80 million in Measure H bonds will be issued in January 2015. These funds will help the school district make improvements in several areas—academic programs; school safety and security; classrooms and science labs; repair, construct, or equip school sites and classrooms; teacher retention by upgrading technology; and much more. All families, community members, staff, and interested students are encouraged to attend meetings. This meeting is a follow up to the survey sent out last spring.

We recognize the importance of parent involvement in the education of all our students, and we invite and welcome you to actively partner with us on our campus. For the safety of all our students, all parents and other persons wishing to volunteer in classrooms or around the campus must be fingerprinted and receive a TB test. Please see our front office staff for a New Volunteer or Returning Volunteer packet or download one from our website. All volunteers must fill out one of these packets each year. REMINDER: ALL parents, volunteers, student teachers, non-Los Alamitos staff, and any other person on the Los Alamitos campus during school hours MUST sign in and out at the main office EVERY time they are on campus. No exceptions. Thank you for your attention to this important procedure.
