CANOAS UNIFORM DRESS CODE

1. All students are required to wear the basic uniform, which includes any of the following:

A. Pant, Short, Jumper, Skirt or Skort in Navy
B. Collared Shirt, Polo Shirt, Blouse or long Sleeved Turtle Neck in White, Navy, Burgundy or Hunter Green

2. In addition to our basic uniform are the following:

A. Crew neck Sweatshirts in White, Navy, Burgundy or Hunter Green
B. Cardigan Sweater in White, Navy, Burgundy or Hunter Green
C. School Logo Sweatshirt/T-Shirt

3. All clothing must be size appropriate for the student.

4. Tights, leggings or bike shorts are acceptable under the uniform skirt, skort or jumper in the following colors: White, Navy, Burgundy or Hunter Green

5. Socks and belts should coordinate with the uniform.

6. Jackets, coats and raincoats are acceptable as outer garments.

7. The garments below are not considered part of the Canoas school uniform:

• Sweat pants, jeans/Levi's, and or leggings worn as pants
• A sweatshirt turned inside out
• Crew neck T-shirts, even if worn under a uniform sweatshirt or jumper
• Organization and/or club uniforms i.e. Boy Scouts, soccer uniforms

Students not following the Canoas dress code will receive a “Uniform Infraction Notification” to be signed by their parent/guardian and returned to the school office. Khaki or beige pants are not considered part of the Canoas uniform.

Important Reminder: For the safety of the students, District Policy is that all students wear close toed shoes.
