12th Annual Art Show
We are very pleased to announce the 12th Annual Art Show, sponsored by the Reed PTA! For the past 12 years, we have been bringing art history lessons and hands-on projects to the kids via the Art Vistas program. They have been exposed to masters such as Van Gogh, Renoir, O’Keefe and Kandinsky. They have experimented with watercolors, oil pastels, clay, and many other mediums. By the time the students finish 5th grade, they will have completed 39 lessons! One of their very own masterpieces will be on display at our Art Show. The show is on Tuesday, May 16th, from 5:30-7:30pm in the cafeteria (same night as Open House).  Every Reed student will have a piece of work in the show!  Come and check out the amazing work the students have been doing throughout the year!

From the School Office
Attention Parents:
The office has been receiving a lot of “bounce-backs” when sending out emails to families.
Please update your most current information using the parent portal. Here is the link for your convenience:
Thank you!

Are You A New Volunteer?
New Volunteers will need a TB skin test certification or if positive reactor, chest x-ray verification.  They must be within 60 days of volunteer service or if a previous volunteer, within the last four years. Volunteers must be fingerprinted prior to beginning to volunteer. The cost is $10.00 and it must be done at the District Office.  Please see the school secretary for a New Volunteer Packet and return it to the office for the principal’s signature. Human Resources will notify the school secretary, via email once the background check clearance has been received. You will then be notified if you have been cleared.

Are You A Returning Volunteer?
All volunteers from last year that choose to volunteer this coming school year MUST fill out a returning volunteer form.  If they do not fill this form out, they cannot volunteer.  Please return the form to the school secretary in the office for the principal’s signature.

Note: New and Returning Volunteers will not be allowed to volunteer in classroom, field trips etc., until they have been cleared by the district office, and notified by the school secretary.

Thank you for helping keep our children safe!
