Appointments with Teachers & Staff
Please feel free to discuss any scholastic or behavioral concerns with your child’s teacher. Make an appointment with the teacher by calling the school, sending a note with your child, or speaking to the teacher before or after school. All issues should be talked over with the teacher first, before talking to the principal.
Programmatic concerns can also be directed to the resource teachers. Again, please call ahead for an appointment. If you wish to see the principal, call the office to make an appointment.
Behavior and Discipline
Shortly after school begins you will receive the District’s Student/Parent Handbook and our school-wide behavior plan. In addition, your child will bring home the rules for his/her classroom. Please take time to discuss these plans with your child so that all will be informed about the process. If you have any questions, please notify the teacher. We know that student safety and proper behavior are important to everyone, and that you would not allow anything to interfere with the education of our students.
