At Booksin Elementary, students, staff, and families work in partnership to create an environment where children are intellectually challenged in ways appropriate to their individual strengths, needs, and experiences. Our goal is to teach academic standards as well as develop thriving individuals, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners who will be active participants in our local and global communities.
We view learning as an active and ongoing process that extends beyond the school boundaries. We believe that as a community, our primary responsibility is to provide a learning environment that is safe and intellectually challenging for all of our students.
Our students are motivated to explore their world, and encouraged to practice learning skills that will benefit them over a lifetime. The adult members of our school community model these lifelong learning skills in a collegial atmosphere.
