Booksin Elementary

The Library Media Center is the information hub for Booksin School. It houses a collection of over 12,000 books, magazines, CDs, DVD’s, videos, and literature kits. There are a total of 7 iMac and eMac computers that are connected to the district and school networks as well as the Internet. Students are encouraged to use all of these information resources for research, multimedia reports and classroom projects.

Booksin School also uses its library network to assess student reading comprehension with the Accelerated Reader Quizzes and Literacy Tests. This program encourages students to keep reading and to improve their independent reading skills.
