Booksin’s Art Vista program is run by a team of energetic parent docents. They combine both art history and art instruction as they introduce the works of the great masters and their historical periods, teaching the techniques and mediums of each artist.

Booksin offers a performing arts program under the direction of Ms. Lori Paolini. Instruction includes weekly vocal music technique, singing, and musical materials appropriate for children’s voices. All Booksin students participate, and their work culminates in multicultural and patriotic song performances in the spring.  Presentations are made during school hours.  In addition, Ms. Paolini directs the Booksin Chorale, a group of 4th and 5th grade students who want to know more about singing and performing in an ensemble.

Art Vista and the Performing Arts programs are funded through BESCA (Booksin Elementary School Community Association), the school’s parent organization.
