Greetings Room 27 Parents and Students,

Welcome to our new Booksin Website.  We put a new face on Booksin online in March of 2008, and it will take some time to develop staff pages (including mine).  In the meantime, explore our site and let us know what you think. 

The Resources pages should be especially valuable to students and parents.  For those of you who want to get a head start thinking about Science Camp, April 6 - April 9, 2009, you’ll find the link to YMCA Camp Campbell Outdoor Science School on the Science page.  Everything you’ll need to bring, plus plenty of information about the week’s activities, can be found online. You’ll also find the link and information about Science Camp on my 5th Grade Spring Activities page. 

Take a look at my Class Projects page.  Information about Early Explorers, State Reports, Famous Americans, and Science Fair may spark conversations with your children about the expectations and due dates in the weeks and months ahead.

We’re looking for parent volunteers to help with the garden on Thriving Thursdays, a wonderful program for students during lunchtime.  Take a look at the Booksin Garden page if you’re able to help with this great project.

We hope the site navigation is easy, and I’ll continue to post important information for our class on my own pages.
