Booksin Elementary

Booksin Elementary is a high achieving elementary school located in the heart of the Willow Glen suburb in San Jose, California. The school was named after an early Willow Glen pioneer. Louis Booksin, and his son, Henry Booksin owned cherry orchards in Willow Glen in the 1900’s. To this day, the Booksin sense of community and committment to succeed are characteristics of our school. Booksin provides an environment where children are intellectually challenged in ways appropriate to their individual strengths, needs, and experiences. We strive to develop thriving individuals, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners who will actively participate in their local and global communities.
