Science Camp

Science Camp Meeting for Parents:  Date To Be Determined

Video presentation/camp overview in the cafeteria.  Fifth grade teachers speak about various aspects of camp and answer questions.

Monday, April 6 - Thursday, April 9:

Fifth graders spend four days and three nights at Camp Campbell’s Outdoor Science School.  Transportation by school bus.

Please note the following:
•Please take luggage to the front of the school no later than 7:50 on April 6, and check in with me. 
•After check-in, we will go to the classroom until the buses leave for camp at approximately 9:15 a.m.
ALL of your child’s items (clothing, towels, luggage, pillow, sleeping bag, plastic bags) must be marked with first and last name.
ALL medications must be in original containers placed in plastic bags and marked with the child’s first and last name and given to me on the morning we leave for camp.
•Bring a sack lunch for the first day at camp.  Mark it with first and last name in large print, and do not pack it in your child’s luggage.
•We will return to Booksin on Thursday, April 9, arriving at approximately 1:30 p.m.
•Download a parent packet of information:  Camp Campbell
•You may send letters, but visiting your child at camp or calling is not allowed.  Your child will be busy all day every day, and encouraging independence is part of this experience.  Send letters 1 week in advance to make sure your correspondence arrives while your child is at camp.  The address is as follows:

Golfland

Friday, June 5 :

5th graders attend Golfland on Blossom Hill Road as a final class activity.  Transportation by school bus.  Students must be in good standing to attend.
