Various programs are available after school to support academics, enrich learning and provide a safe place to explore. Some programs continue throughout the year while others are short term courses.
Programs
AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK: This program is three days a week to provide time and help for students to finish homework. At this time, only second through fifth graders may attend. To participate, a permission form must be returned.
KIDS CLUB: This program is not sponsored by San Jose Unified School District. It is an after-school activity allowed by California State Law. The free program is held on Tuesdays from 12:45-2:15 pm. A permission form is required to partipate. This program is sponsored by Hillside Church.
YOUNG REMBRANDTS: Young Rembrandts combines foundational art skills in a fun, nurturning environment. Core art skills covered: drawing, coloring and art skils; fundamental art techniques and art vocabulary and expanded creativity, imagination and confidence. This is a paid short term session class.
