Second Grade Teacher

I began teaching in 1989 after obtaining my teaching credential and master’s degree in elementary education from UCLA.  I taught for 9 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District before returning to the Bay Area.  Since returning to the Bay Area I have spent most of my time teaching at Canoas Elementary School.  I love the challenge of the primary grades and have taught every grade from kindergarten through third grade.  When not working, I love to walk on the beach, ride my bike, travel and spend time with my wonderfully large family--my parents, two brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
