Canoas Elementary

PARENTS are the key. A student’s success depends greatly on parent participation and involvement in their child’s academic program, both at school and at home. Parents model and set the examples for their children. We are requesting that each family contribute a minimum of (4) hours per month at school. Below are some ways Canoas parents can be involved:

Attend school functions
-Parent/Teacher Conference
-Workshops/Conferences
-Open House

Lend a helping hand as a
-Tutor
-Room Parent
-Classroom and Office Helper
-Library Helper

Serve on a committee
-Join School Site Council
-Join Home & School Club
-Sign up for various other committees

Work as a paid
-Yard Supervisor and/or Bus Monitor
