Canoas is a uniform school. All students are required to wear the Canoas uniform daily.
There will be “free dress” days throughout the year. A clear description of our dress code
is provided in the handbook and by clicking the Learn More link for your convenience.
Students not following the Canoas dress code will receive a “Uniform Infraction Notification” to be signed by their parent/guardian and returned to the school office. Please read the dress code policy carefully.
CANOAS UNIFORM POLICY
The Canoas’ dress code is as follows:
All students are required to wear the basic uniform, which includes any
of the following:
• Navy blue pants, shorts, jumpers or skirts
• White, navy, hunter green or burgundy collared shirts, polo shirts or
blouses
In addition to our basic uniform the following may be included:
• White, navy, hunter green or burgundy crew neck sweatshirts
• White, navy, hunter green or burgundy cardigan sweaters
• Navy vests
• School Logo sweatshirts/t-shirts
• All jackets, coats and raincoats are accepted as outer garments
All clothing must be size appropriate for the students.
The garments below will not be considered part of Canoas’ school
uniform:
• Sweat pants, jeans/Levi’s and/or leggings worn as pants.
• Sweatshirts turned inside out
• Crew neck t-shirts, even if worn under uniform sweatshirt or jumper.
• Organization and/or club uniforms; i.e. Scouts, soccer uniforms
Students not following the Canoas dress code will receive a “Uniform Infraction
Notification” to be signed by their parent/guardian and returned to the school

Important Reminder: For the safety of the students, District Policy is that all
students wear closed toed shoes.
