Resource Teacher

I began teaching in 1975 after obtaining my teaching credential in elementary education from Mills College in Oakland, CA.  I have taught for 27 years in San Jose Unified. The first few years of my teaching career began in Riverside, CA.  In the 32 years that I have taught they have been both at the middle school for 10 years, 4 years as a middle school assistant principal and the rest of the years at the elementary level both as a classroom teacher and now as a bilingual resource teacher. Also in those 32 years I have had the opportunity to teach grades K to 8th science in Spanish.  When not working, my husband and I love to go to movies, go on day trips around the valley and travel. We love to travel! Our favorite place in the whole world is Tahiti! When I’m not on the go I enjoy reading and making cards for friends and family.
