First Grade Teacher

I began teaching in my home land, Costa Rica in 1982 after obtaining my teaching credential in elementary education from the University of Costa Rica. I haven’t always been teaching. From 1986-1998, I had a diplomatic position in Rome, Italy.  I have taught for 8 years in San Jose Unified. I have spent most of my time teaching at Hester.  I love teaching the primary grades and have taught every grade from first through fifth grade.  When not working, I love to go camping, hiking and do yoga.
