The kindergarten schedule will not change. Friday, Nov 21 is an inservice day with no school for students. Teachers will be using the additional time during that week for conferencing. Congratulations to our students of the month for October: Elizabeth Calderon, Jennifer Aguilar, Melanie Gonzalez, Krystal Audon, Leslie Nava-Diaz, Gabriela Herrera, Andre Reis, Andrea Valenzuela, Kevin Bejines, Kassandra Guzman, Chelsey Texeira, Michael Ayon, Melyna Rosales, Mariana Ramos, Baudelia Pulido, Liliana Lopez, and Noe Banuelos-Alvarez. Welcome to our newest staff member! Mrs. Jackson is our permanent teacher for the third grade ALA students in room 19. She brings strong classroom teaching experience with her. Please help make her feel welcome as she joins us! Kindergarten will have a special career day and parent meeting on Monday, November 17. There will be special volunteers to share their jobs with our kindergarteners as part of the day. The SILHVER group will also host a meeting for all kindergarten parents that day at 9:00 am in the cafeteria. The meeting will share information about how to support your kindergarteners as they move through school as college-bound learners.
Important construction news----The main driveway is going to be fixed in November. We apologize for the inconvenience, but I know many of you have been concerned about scraping the bottom of your vehicles. Thank you for expressing your concerns so we can get this problem fixed.
