Preregistration Dates

January 20th, 2012

Secondary Waiting List applications mailed to parents and students currently on the secondary school’s waiting list.

January 23rd thru February 08th, 2012

Parents of current 5th and 8th grade students as well as preregistered secondary students complete and return the Request for School Assignment Form to the student’s school. (Parents of students not currently enrolled in a school will return the form to an Information and Enrollment Center.) No priority will be given to parents who return the form before February 08, 2012.

Secondary Pre registration begins at the Information and Enrollment Centers for 6th through 12th grade students who live in SJUSD but do not attend District schools. Students will be assigned randomly and in accordance with the Voluntary Integration Plan and Board Policy while taking into consideration the instructional capacity of the school.

March 21st, thru August 10th, 2012

Transfer Applications Grades 6-11 accepted for school year 2012-2013 at the Information and Enrollment Centers.

January 30th thru August 10,2012

Renewal and OVER LOAD intra district transfer forms Grade 1 -04 accepted at the information and Enrollment Center and/or return by mail to District Office/Student Assignment.

January 30th thru March 09th, 2012

Elementary Magnet School applications accepted from parents of currently enrolled K-4 SJUSD students for school year 2012-2013 at the Information and Enrollment Centers. No priority will be given to parents who return the form before March 09th, 2012. Students will be assigned randomly and in accordance with the priorities of the Voluntary Integration Plan and Board Policy while taking into consideration the instructional capacity of the school.

February 06th thru March 09th, 2012

Transitional Kinder and Kindergarten pre-registration enrollment begin at the Information and Enrollment Centers. Capacity permitting, all kindergarten students are assured their attendance boundary schools.
