A major part of improving student achievement is making sure that school learning environments are places where visitors feel welcomed and valued. This is set forth in San José Unified’s Board of Education’s Customer Service Resolution. Our goal is to make visitors to our schools and district office feel welcomed as important guests.
When you interact with our employees you can expect:
Friendliness: Our customers will be greeted and acknowledged promptly. Our customers questions or concerns are important.
Fairness: Our employees will treat all customers justly and impartially.
Control: We believe our customers can have an impact on results.
Options and alternatives: If we are unable to resolve a customer’s issue, we will help you to find an alternative method of resolution.
Information: We want to be able to provide our customers with the necessary information, in a timely manner. We are available to explain school policies and procedures or direct you to someone who can provide you the correct information.
