Parent outreach is at the heart of the ADELANTE Program. Due to the fact that parent involvement has been long tied to the success of students, Washington has created a multi-prong approach to improving parent support and increasing training opportunities for families.
Washington recently received the Golden Bell Award from the California School Boards Association for their Adelante Program. Assemblymember Joe Coto named Washington’s Principal Maria Evans
