Broadway High School4825 Speak Lane, CA 95118 408-535-6285 SJUSDs alternative/continuation high school, provides an educational environment for students with multiple risk factors. The school is structured to address students’ personal and academic needs, and students are given the opportunity to learn behaviors that will help them establish a pattern of success. A comprehensive guidance program, flexible scheduling, and varied delivery system emphasize the relationship between school and work. Students all have an Individualized Learning Plan and are placed by a Child Welfare Attendance Counselor. This campus is supported by an on-site Principal, a Counselor, and staff. Julian, CA 95116 408-279-2550 School Web Site These schools provide an academic program which assists students in developing life skills and academic achievement so that they may return to a regular school setting. The middle school and high school programs were established to serve the needs of extremely at-risk youth. Students are referred to the Community Day Schools through Child Welfare Attendance Counselors, Probation Officers, Disciplinary Hearings, Expulsions or suspended Expulsions. The CD Schools are currently staffed with an on-site Principal, an on-site Human Relations Administrator, an on-site Counselor and staffing at 20-1. Each student has an Individualized Learning Plan.
