H1N1

Health Services is very grateful for the hundreds of school staff, parent volunteers, and district office staff who participated in the organization, preparation, and/or working the day of the H1N1 clinics. With your assistance the school nurses completed 67 clinics in 25 days, administering over 16,000 vaccines. Thanks to the many volunteers, the clinics ran smoothly and we achieved our goal of keeping students healthy and in school.

H1N1 “Vaccination Days” Statistics

  • Total of 67 clinics were held in 25 days
  • 17 days to do the first round
  • 8 days to do the second round
  • Full time school site nurses worked 12 – 15 clinics each
  • Part time school site nurses worked 8 – 11 clinics each
  • 11,556 students were vaccinated in the first round
  • 4,779 students were vaccinated in the second round
  • A total of 16,335 vaccinations were given to students
  • 364 vaccinations were given to SJUSD Employees
