San Jose High Academy offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, a rigorous pre-university certification for academically talented students in grades 11-12 and grades 9-10 of the Middle Years Program, an age-appropriate curriculum that provides a framework of academic challenge, enrichment, and life skills for students in grades 6-10.  Our IB magnet has been successful in providing challenging academic programs to a truly diverse student body. Additionally, funded by a new three-year Federal Magnet Schools Assistance grant, we are proud to announce a new Pre-Engineering /Technology Program, based on the latest research and program planning, which provides students a comprehensive introduction to engineering principles, concepts and real world programs to prepare them for college, including credits, and a successful future career.  Also funded by the Federal Magnet grant is a new Multilingual Communications Program (MCP) to enable our bilingual students to participate in a number of career paths toward a variety of professions, including translation services and global communications.  We are proud of our school.
