Pioneer, a California Distinguished School, offers all students a comprehensive education and access to programs that have won national recognition. As one of only 100 National Service Learning Leader schools, our science-focused, rigorous core curriculum is supplemented by the BioSite elective. Our students have multiple opportunities to be involved in volunteer and research programs outside of the classroom and to present on their programs and work at local and national conferences. All students participate in the cross-curricular sophomore project which engages them in meaningful community service. Our student artists participate in productions, exhibitions and concerts.  Our athletic, dance, spirit, and robotics teams are area leaders, proudly winning league titles and participating in regional and national championship tournaments.  Pioneer offers radio broadcasting training and experience with the District’s only radio station (KMTG 89.3 FM).  The success of the school is reflected by the generous support of parents, boosters, business partners and committed alumni.
