New members Amy Huddleston, Jim Kateley, Michael Palmaffy and Kathryn Rolland seated. Annual Performance and Financial Audits presented,favorable. Draft Annual Report presented, minor changes to be made,Report to be posted following individual between-meetings review by CBOC members. District provides report on its methods for handling mal-performing contractors. Cesare provides Outreach Report of recommendations for improving communications, including website improvements and school website links to Annual Report. CBOC responsibility to do site inspections noted; Hughes agrees to formalize days and times for this. District presents various standard Project Overview and Status Reports. |

Request from public for a history of change orders for hard and soft costs. District agrees report on selected projects might be useful, at some later date. CBOC presented with review of the Brown Act, and told how they are expected to behave. Distinction between Program Manager and Construction Manager made. Stadium lighting discussed, commitment made that no Measure F funds (beyond those already spent at San Jose High, a replacement) will be spent on the lights. District presents various standard Project Overview and Status Reports, and agrees to add a summary sheet as part of the Contingency Report. Quarterly Financial Report is given. Ad hoc committee formed to create the CBOC Annual Report, members Persselin, Cesare, Palmaffy and Ginsborg. Members agree that improved connection, school websites to CBOC site, would be useful, and form ad hoc committee to study, members Cesare, Ginsborg and Kateley, along with Mike Hiddleson of Program Management. |
