The following Trustees’ terms on the Board of Education will expire in November, 2008:

JORGE GONZALEZ
Trustee Area #1

PAMELA FOLEY
Trustee Area #3

LESLIE REYNOLDS
Trustee Area #5

Persons interested in being candidates for election to the San Jose Unified Board of Education must reside in Trustee areas 1, 3 or 5. 

The candidate filing period is:  July 14, 2008 through August 8, 2008.  Candidate packets may be obtained from the Registrar of Voters Office or from Lynn Raspone in Room 313 at the District office AFTER July 14, 2008.

(If an incumbent fails to file a Declaration of Candidacy by 5:00 p.m. on August 8, 2008, the nomination period is extended for any person, other than an incumbent until August 13, 2008.
