College Transcripts, Confidential Placement File, NTE Scores

To help us evaluate your candidacy, please provide us with a complete set of undergraduate and graduate transcripts and request your file from your placement office. Be sure your confidential file includes a statement from your most recent employer.

If you have taken the National Teacher Examination, through the Educational Testing Services, we would welcome a set of your scores and would consider them in the evaluation of your application.

Credentials

It is imperative that you possess, or have taken steps to secure, a State of California teaching credential for the level or field for which you are applying. It is your responsibility to secure the credential. Information regarding credentials may be obtained by writing directly to the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, Box 944270, Sacramento, CA 94244-2700. Passage of the CBEST test is also a credential requirement.
