• John Muir School Accountability Report Card for 2006 - 2007 •
Public schools throughout California are required to provide information to the community in the form of an annual School Accountability Report Card (SARC). These report cards provide a variety of data about a school’s student achievement, environment, resources, and demographics.

2008 API Increases
John Muir’s New API Score!
John Muir gained 12 points last year on the API - the second highest middle school gain in the district!
Muir’s API is now 756!
2008 Science Awards
Earlier this year, the Muir Science Fair was held and many Muir science students produced outstanding projects. Several winning students went on and entered the The Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championship sponsored by the Santa Clara County Office of Education. At the end of the competition, five John Muir students received awards!

California Standards Test Award
John Muir was presented an award by the district for their outstanding improvement in English Language Arts.
