7th Grade Language!, Social Studies and Language Arts

This is my 7th year at John Muir Middle School.  I teach 7th grade Social Studies and Language Arts (CORE).  We explore and learn about ancient cultures around the world.  We will cover medieval Europe, the empire of Islam, China, Japan, Africa and the Americas.  In Language Arts we will focus on grammar, reading and writing skills, and reading comprehension.  I also teach 7th grade Language!, a two hour class of intensive Language Arts instruction.
