Pre-Algebra Teacher

Hi everyone!  I am delighted to be a part of the Falcon Staff.  I have been at Muir for three years; previously I taught for 13 years at Sylvandale Middle School in the Franklin-McKinley School District.  I love teaching math!  My mother was a math teacher, my grandfather was a math professor- I guess you could say it’s in my blood!

As for my background, I have a BA in Child Development from San Jose State University.  I earned my teaching credential from Mills College, way back in 1993. 

Outside of school, I have been involved with Girl Scouting for more than 25 years.  I have two beautiful daughters, and I spend all of my free time doing fun stuff with them.  I love to go camping, cook, learn languages, and read.
