This is my 13th full year at John Muir and my 26th year teaching Science. I graduated from Montery High School and went on to attend San Francisco State University where I earned a degree in Behavioral and Physiological Biology. I took a year off and returned to school at the University of Cincinnati where I earned my single subject credential in Biological Sciences. I recently also earned a Masters of Arts degree in Education-Administration and Supervision. I am involved in School Site Council at John Muir as well as Curriculum Council. At the district level I am a member of the Middle School Task Force and I am a Support Provider for beginning teachers in the district BTSA program.  I really enjoy teaching at the middle school level and have done so my entire career.  Science rocks! When I am not doing school-related things, I like to garden, sew, do crafts, travel and spend time with my family.
