8th grade Language Arts
ELD Coordinator

This is my 4th year teaching at John Muir and my 7th year in San Jose Unified School District.  I currently teach 8th grade Language Arts and I am also the English Learner Program (ELP) Coordinator for our site.  I also teach the 7th period Intensive Instruction Writing class on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

I attended Loyola Marymount University and received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology.  Soon after, I received my teaching credential in English from National University.  This past year, I completed my Master’s Degree and credential in Educational Administration at San Jose State University.
