Hiking Club

Mr. Nyhof and Mrs. Cash

Muir’s hiking club is centered around giving students the opportunity to learn about, experience, and appreciate the outdoors.  Both Mrs. Cash and I lead hikes nearly every other week around the bay area and teach skills such as hiking safety, knot-tying, orienteering, and plant and animal identification.  Parent involvement and participation in the hikes is encouraged, and drivers are always welcome.
