Digital Music Info

The Digital Music Program at Muir is an elective for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students that provides the opportunity for students to learn principals of music by composing their own music.  Students that have taken the Beginning Digital Music class can sign up for the Advanced Digital Music class to further their knowledge of music composition and theory, as well as produce podcasts and other music-related multimedia projects.

Click on the link to the right to access the John Muir Digital Music Web Site, which provides more detail about the course and includes examples of the student’s music compositions.
