ADVISORY PERIOD GUIDELINES

2008/2009
One of the main features of Lincoln high School is the Advisory Period. Advisory is concentrated study time for students as well as office hours for all teachers.  Students will now have built-in time to speak to teachers for additional help as well as make up assignments and tests.  The following are guidelines that all students and teachers will follow:

Teachers are assigned to their main classroom. All students will sign-in at the location they go for Advisory.

Students who have a D or F in one or more subjects will be placed on contract and required to attend said class.

When a student enters a classroom, they are to stay in the classroom for the entire period unless a pass is issued.

No passes issued during the last ten minutes of advisory.

Media Center-open for up to sixty students for research or private studying.

Students may be required to attend AP advisory...(multiple AP classes must be worked out)

Students may not go to the bank, Student Services or hang out in the main building, quad, basketball courts, etc....

Any student not in class after the final bell will be assigned campus cleanup.
