STUDENT NOTES

The Honor Roll Assembly is tomorrow at 10:45 in the gym. If you think you qualify for the Honor Roll, but your name is not on the list in the main building, contact Student Services ASAP.

October flash passes have arrived and can be picked up during lunch; make sure your name appears on the list posted outside Students Services

Attention all students enrolled in the PASS program: PASS Saturday School starts this Saturday from 9am-12pm at Washington Elementary School. See Mr. Mora in the Career Center for an application.

College week is next week: October 6 - 10.  On Monday, celebrate the event by wearing a college T or sweatshirt. Faculty and Staff, now is the time to advertise where you went to school, and students, wear the logo of the college of your dreams.

CAREER CENTER

Many colleges will be hosting off campus info nights in the Bay Area during the month of October. Come to the College & Career Center for more info about UCLA, NYU, Penn, Columbia University, Mills, Lewis & Clark College, Yale, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and many more!  RSVP for these soon.

There will be an SAT & Subject Test on November 1st; registration is open until October 10th. And Seniors, you must register for the Oct. 25 ACT test by this Friday, October 3.

UC San Diego and National Hispanic University will be visiting on Thursday Oct. 2, and NYU will be here on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Sign up in the Career Center.

ATTENTION JUNIORS: Parent night is on Monday, October 6, at 6:30pm in the Media Center.  Sign up in the Career Center if you would like to attend and learn more about the college process.

There will be an important meeting tonight for anyone interested in participating in the Paris Exchange Program this year. Host a visiting French student in October and then travel to Paris in June to visit them. Anyone can participate, and the meeting is on Oct. 1 at 7:00 in room P-104. Contact Mr. Church or Ms. Roselman for more information.

CLUBS:

Earn your place in Valhalla!  Join the Viking Club in room A, located in the basement, Friday at lunch.  The battlefields await.

Attention all National Honor Society members: there is a mandatory meeting today at lunch in room P112.

SPORTS:

Interested in playing baseball in the fall? Then come to the meeting today during lunch in room 93A.  See you there.

Our first night football game is this Friday. The J.V. game begins at 4:30 and the Varsity game begins at 7:00. Show your spirit, support your team, and wear blue and gold. Go Lions!
